Housed in Sydney institution The Buena, the North Shore’s much-loved Bistro Moncur is now known as Bistro Mosman.
Head chef, Jon Trouillet remains prince of the pass, curating a new seasonal menu that continues to deliver locals the experience that they have come to love but at even better value. Jon was born and raised in France and has spent his whole life around fresh produce. He has honed his skills in some of the most respected establishments in France (L'atelier de Joel Robuchon, Jules Vernes in the Eiffel tower). Jon settled in Australia in 2012 to make Sydney his home in 2014. He launched Bistro Moncur, Mosman in 2016 and remained part of of the restaurant since.
The new menu includes a selection of French classics using fresh Australian produce. Think French onion souffle, Beef bourguignon, steak frites with bearnaise sauce, Valhrona chocolate fondant and brandy ice cream just to name a few.
